Jerry D. High appeals his jury trial convictions for aggravated kidnapping (K.S.A. 21-3421 [Ensley 1988]), first-degree murder (K.S.A. 1992 Supp. 21-3401), and felony theft (K.S.A. 21-3701 [Ensley 1988]). He was sentenced to consecutive prison terms of life, life, and 1 to 5 years.
