In this declaratory judgment action, the plaintiffs1 seek a judgment declaring a decision of the zoning board of appeals of the town of Fairfield (board) null and void. The trial court refused to grant declaratory relief and rendered judgment in favor of the defendants.2 The plaintiffs appealed from the judgment to this court.
