DECUIR, Judge.
Defendant, Andrew D. Veazie, was indicted for possession of cocaine, in violation of La. R.S. 40:967(C). The defendant pled not guilty and after a trial by jury was found guilty. Veazie was adjudicated a habitual offender and sentenced to three years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, consecutive to any parole time and consecutive to a contempt of court citation.
