DECUIR, Judge.

Zachary Davis was charged with one count of illegal possession of stolen things and one count of possession of a firearm, violations of La.R.S. 14:69 and 14:95.1. Defendant was arraigned and pled not guilty. The charges were severed for trial. Defendant was tried by jury and found guilty of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Defendant was sentenced to ten years at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence....
