The defendant was arrested and charged with armed robbery, receiving stolen property, and unlawfully carrying a firearm. Before trial, he moved to suppress physical evidence and statements obtained at the time of his arrest. The motion judge allowed the motion and suppressed the evidence. The Commonwealth's application for interlocutory appeal was allowed by a single justice of this court, and the case was transmitted...
