This appeal arises from a May 26, 1992 order of the Tate County Circuit Court granting Northwest Mississippi Junior College's motion for summary judgment in a negligence action. Joseph Garrett brought suit against Northwest after he sustained a severe injury to his right thumb while working on a milling machine in his tool and die class.
