In this appeal, we consider whether this Court may address a claim that the trial court erred in failing to place its reasons for the imposition of sentence on the record where such a claim was not raised in a motion for modification of sentence. Because the trial court addressed this contention in its Opinion, and because an appellate court can address such a claim based upon a review of the sentencing transcript, we conclude that failure to raise...
