The instant cases present the issue whether townships can be held liable under M.C.L.A. § 691.1402; M.S.A. § 3.996(102) for injuries occurring on public sidewalks abutting county roads within the townships' boundaries. After analyzing this issue, we agree with the special panel in Williams v. Redford Twp. [Williams II],1 which adopted the holding and reasoning of Williams...
