Defendant was convicted by a jury of carrying a concealed weapon, MCL 750.227; MSA 28.424, and possession of a firearm by a felon, MCL 750.224f; MSA 28.421(6), and later pleaded guilty of being a fourth-offense habitual offender, MCL 769.12; MSA 28.1084. He was sentenced to two concurrent prison terms of ten to fifteen years and appeals as of right.
