WALLER, Justice.

Appellants Stacey Cox Clemens and Adam Fisher, Jr. are appealing an award of sanctions against them arising out of a divorce action. We agree with Appellants that the award of sanctions was improper and reverse.

FACTS

On June 11, 1993, Stacey Cox Clemens filed suit against her husband, David Clemens, Jr., seeking a divorce. The suit was filed in Laurens County. On June 18, 1993, Mr. Clemens filed a motion to change venue....
