In this juvenile proceeding, a child was adjudicated under Neb.Rev.Stat. § 43-247(3)(a) (Reissue 1993) without the child's father being allowed to participate in the proceedings, being advised of his rights, or being accorded his right to counsel, in spite of the fact that he was present at all of the hearings. A year after the first hearing, a new judge became aware of the situation and appointed the father an attorney and allowed him to intervene...
