Upon the petition of the plaintiff-appellee employee, Jim Dougherty, the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court increased the benefits it had previously awarded him. The defendant-appellant employer, Swift-Eckrich, Inc., thereupon appealed to the Nebraska Court of Appeals.
