I. STATEMENT OF CASE

Clifford A. Privat appeals his convictions, following a jury trial, for first degree murder and use of a weapon in the commission of a felony. Privat was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder conviction and from 6 to 20 years' imprisonment for the use of a weapon conviction, to be served consecutively.
