In this appeal, we review the death sentence imposed upon Marlon Dwayne Williams following his conviction of capital murder. In February 1995, a grand jury returned an indictment charging that Williams, on November 9, 1993, "did, for hire, willfully, deliberately and with premeditation kill and murder Helen Bedsole."
