This appeal arises out of an action by the plaintiffs, United Components, Inc. (United), and Richard Ruhling (Ruhling), in which United alleged the usurpation of a corporate opportunity by the defendant, Richard Wdowiak (Wdowiak), and Ruhling alleged a violation of the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act (CUTPA), General Statutes § 42-110a et seq., by Wdowiak.
