On March 26, 1988, plaintiff Alan Bolyard experienced something peculiar while drinking a 16-ounce, bottle of Coca-Cola, America's favorite soft drink. Plaintiff alleges that a nozzle piece, a part of machinery used in the bottling process, became lodged in his throat.
