After a six-day trial, Arturo Gonzalez and Ricardo Ramirez were convicted on the three counts with which they had been charged: conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute heroin (21 U.S.C. § 846); possession of heroin with intent to distribute (21 U.S.C. § 841; 18 U.S.C. § 2); and using and carrying a firearm during and in relation to the commission of drug trafficking crimes (18 U.S.C. § 924(c)).
