SCHUDSON, J.

Terrell A. Coleman appeals from the judgment of conviction, following a jury trial, for felon in possession of a firearm, in violation of § 941.29(2), STATS., and from the order denying his motion for postconviction relief. He argues that the trial court erred in denying his request for a jury instruction on self-defense. We agree and, accordingly, reverse and remand for a new trial.
