Plaintiff Gary Freeman, guardian of the estate of Rocky Jess Stone, commenced this action in the District Court of Murray County, Oklahoma. He sued defendant Alex Brown & Sons, Inc. ("Brown"), to recover funds lost when the company allegedly gave Freeman's predecessor poor investment advice.
