The defendant appeals from the judgment of conviction, following a jury trial, of one count of sale of narcotics in violation of General Statutes § 21a-277 (a).1 The defendant claims that the trial court (1) misinstructed the jury on identification, and (2) failed to instruct the jury that it could draw an adverse inference from the state's intentional destruction of physical evidence.
