Plaintiff initiated this action by writ of summons on March 3, 1993, averring that plaintiff's husband, decedent, died as a result of negligent medical care by the defendants. On the morning of March 15, 1991, plaintiff found her husband unconscious and took him to the emergency room of defendant Meadville Medical Center by ambulance.
