The plaintiffs, Jerrold Schaffer and Gershon Kreuser, on their own behalf and purportedly on behalf of a class of other similarly situated investors, have brought this now-consolidated securities action against the Timberland Company and two of its directors and officers, Sidney Swartz and Jeffrey Swartz, for losses related to a precipitous drop in the market value of Timberland stock in December, 1994.
