1. Defendant was convicted after pleading guilty to two counts of unlawful branding in violation of NMSA 1978, Section 30-18-3(C) (Repl.Pamp.1994), a fourth-degree felony. The trial court sentenced Defendant to two concurrent eighteen-month terms of imprisonment, then suspended the sentence and placed him on unsupervised probation on the condition that Defendant not remain in the United States.
