The defendant, Jefferson Parish, appeals a judgment rendered in favor of the plaintiff, Fred Peterson. For the following reasons, we affirm.

FACTS

On April 12, 1987, the plaintiff was driving his car eastbound on West Napoleon Avenue at approximately 8:00 p.m. As he neared the intersection of Houma Boulevard, the plaintiff ran into an unmarked pothole. Immediately afterward, the steering wheel on the plaintiff's car began...
