Defendant, Stacy Sterling, appeals his conviction and sentence in this criminal matter. We affirm.

The state filed a bill of information on March 10, 1994 charging the defendant with aggravated battery in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:34. He pled not guilty at his arraignment.
