The appellant, Reginald D. Miller, was convicted of two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, cocaine, a violation of § 13A-12-211, Code of Alabama 1975. He was sentenced to two years for each count, and each sentence was enhanced an additional 10 years because the sales occurred within a three-mile radius of a school (see § 13A-12-250) and a public housing project (see § 13A-12-270).
