This matter comes before us on appeal from a Superior Court order granting the town of Tiverton's motion for summary judgment.

The plaintiffs, David and Vivian Boland (the Bolands), built what they expected to be their dream house in the town of Tiverton. As will be revealed, that expectation turned out to be a bad dream.
