Plaintiff, James Miller, was employed by International Diving and Consulting Services, Inc. (International) as an experienced diver aboard the lay barge, LPC-101. The LPC-101 is a pipe laying barge owned by Reliance Offshore Contractors (Reliance) which, at the time of the accident, was operating in the Gulf of Mexico.
