Defendant, Christopher Parmenter, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) (625 ILCS 5/11-501(a)(2) (West 1994)) on December 31, 1994, and consented to take a breath test. The test results showed that defendant's blood-alcohol concentration (BAC) was .14.
