INTRODUCTION

This is an appeal from a conviction of making a false statement on a license application in violation of the Texas Racing Act. Pursuant to a plea bargain agreement, appellant plead nolo contendere and was found guilty as charged in the indictment. Punishment was assessed at nine years confinement and a $500 fine, which was in accordance with the plea agreement. In six points of error, appellant complains...
