The Appellee ("Chamberlin") filed suit against the Appellant ("Columbus Paper") under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) in the Lowndes County Circuit Court alleging that Columbus Paper had impermissibly discharged him from employment because of his age. After all pretrial matters were resolved, the case was tried and the jury, after receiving instructions from the trial court, found for Chamberlin and awarded damages...
