Walter Pena filed suit against Roy Fann, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, and Dr. James Williams, alleging that he was injured in a collision between his vehicle and that of Fann, which was insured by State Farm. Pena further alleged that in compliance with the request of a State Farm adjuster, he underwent an independent medical examination (IME) performed by Dr. Williams, who reported to State Farm that there was essentially nothing...
