We are asked in this case to decide when the statute of limitations begins to run in a particular class of unlawful employment practice actions brought pursuant to ORS 659.121(1). Those actions, designated as "unlawful motive" cases in the employment law field, are cases in which the employer is charged with engaging in a practice that, except for the fact that it is prompted by an unlawful motive, would be lawful.
