Following a jury trial, the jury returned a verdict which found, by clear and convincing evidence, that the defendant acted in a wanton manner and that plaintiff was entitled to punitive damages. On October 1, 1996, this court heard oral argument and testimony on the issue of assessment of punitive damages.
