Appellant Albert Bell was charged with two counts of capital felony murder and was convicted of two counts of first degree murder. He was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences. According to the state's evidence, Bell and Terry Sims went to Cloud's Grocery Store in Casscoe, Arkansas County, where Sims shot store employees Julian Russell and Mary Lou Jones while Bell took money from the cash register.
