HORTON, J.

The plaintiff, Prime Financial Group, Inc., appeals from an adverse jury verdict, arguing that the Superior Court (McGuire, J.) improperly instructed the jury in response to jury questions. We directed the parties to file memoranda addressing the issue of whether this appeal should be dismissed as untimely filed under Supreme Court Rule 7(1). We hold that the appeal was timely filed, and affirm.
