This is an appeal by one of the defendants, Owen-Corning Fiberglass Corporation ("OCF"), in a negligence and products liability personal injury case. The plaintiff, Julius John Egan, alleges that he had contracted mesothelioma, a fatal cancer of the lining of the lung, as a result of his exposure to asbestos-containing products manufactured or distributed by OCF at his workplace.
