This is an appeal from judgment on a jury verdict in a suit brought by Douglas Farrar against Gregg County under the Texas Whistleblower Act.1 After a trial resulting in a verdict for the plaintiff, the trial court first granted the county's motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict, then reconsidered and vacated that order, entering judgment on the jury's findings.
