John A. Giffen, an attorney, appeals the trial court's imposition of sanctions against him pursuant to Rule 11 of the Utah Rules of Civil Procedure. The trial court sanctioned Mr. Giffen for filing an amended petition for adoption on behalf of his clients, the Hankses.
