On May 23, 1994, appellant Mary Clark sued appellee Robert Ridgeway Jr. for legal malpractice premised on a conflict of interest and breach of fiduciary duty. Ridgeway moved to dismiss the complaint on several grounds, including the lawyer immunity statute, Ark.Code Ann. § 16-22-310 (Repl.1994).
