NORRIS, Judge.

The defendant, Gary Stacy, was indicted for the second degree murders of Kenneth Loston and Latson Williams. La.R.S. 14:30.1 A(1), (2). A jury found him guilty of two counts of manslaughter; the District Court sentenced him to 10 years at hard labor on each count, to run consecutively. Stacy appealed, advancing nine assignments of error.
