The Appellants are two police officers who sued the Appellee, the City of Midland for breach of contract and negligent misrepresentation. A jury ruled that the City had negligently misrepresented the salary that the Appellants would receive upon becoming police officers with the City of Midland and awarded damages of $17,500 to each officer.
