Appellant entered a plea of not guilty before a jury to the offense of capital murder. TEX.PENAL CODE ANN. § 19.03 (Vernon Supp. 1994).1 He was convicted of felony murder, see id. § 19.02(a)(3), and the jury assessed punishment at imprisonment for eighty years.
