Robert Michael Patrick (Defendant) was convicted by a jury of driving a motor vehicle "in excess of the speed limit set by law" in violation of § 304.010.2, RSMo 1994.1 He was sentenced in accordance with the jury's verdict to sixty days in the county jail and fined $500. Defendant appeals, contending that the trial court lacked subject matter jurisdiction because of an alleged defect in the original information...
