On April 10, 1995, a jury found the defendant, Jose Caba, guilty of conspiracy to launder money in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1956(g); money laundering, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1956(a)(1)(A); conspiracy to commit food stamp fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371; and five counts of food stamp fraud, in violation of 7 U.S.C. § 2024(b)(1).
