Plaintiffs sought a determination by the trial court that as purchasers of farm real estate at a deed of trust foreclosure sale, they were entitled to the landlord's share of a matured but unharvested soybean crop that was on the land when they bought it. Defendant, as beneficiary of a management trust that held title to the land until foreclosure, claimed she was entitled to the landlord's share of the soybean crop because the soybeans had matured before...
