This is an unemployment compensation case. On May 27, 1994, claimant filed an unemployment claim, authorized by § 288.070, RSMo 1994,1 against Dianna and Edgar J. Lawrence. A deputy with the Division of Employment Security determined that claimant was entitled to no wage credits for the third and fourth quarters of 1993 because he had been "paid no wages by ... employer for the period in question."
