Appellant, Roy Monroe Robertson, was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Carroll County of first-degree murder and use of a handgun in the commission of a felony. The court sentenced appellant to life imprisonment, without the possibility of parole, for the murder conviction and a consecutive fifteen year term of imprisonment for the handgun conviction.
