[1] Christine R. Fitzhugh applied for, and was denied, unemployment compensation. She appealed to the Appeals Bureau of the Department of Labor, Employment Security Division (Department). The Department affirmed the denial of benefits, concluding Fitzhugh voluntarily abandoned her job.
