This matter came before the Supreme Court on January 23, 1996, pursuant to an order directing the defendant and the state to show cause why the issues raised in this appeal should not be summarily decided. The defendant, Joseph McIntyre, appeals from a pretrial order of the Superior Court denying his motion to dismiss the indictment against him on the grounds of double jeopardy.
